Admission Process and Policy

*** Deadline:
- Last day to register: June 10th
- After June 10th, students will be placed on a waiting list and can join only if a spot becomes available.
Returning Students:
To confirm your continuation:
- Full-Time Students: Submit $300 (monthly)
- Maktab Students:
– Pay all outstanding fees, including June
– Summer course fee: $125
– Payment confirms registration (no additional form needed)
New Students:
- Carefully review eligibility criteria and the admission process
- Submit the enrollment form as per the guidelines
All of the following policies must be read before submitting any enrollment form:
- All applicants must undergo the admission process for enrollment. No individual member can unilaterally influence or enforce enrollment.
- Failure of applicants (and/or their guardians) to follow formal procedures may impact enrollment.
- All applicants are tested before final enrollment.
- Final enrollment is contingent upon the teacher’s assessment of the student.
- The school also reserves the right to decline admission to students without explanation of reasons.
Enrollment in Full-Time School
- All applicants for Full-Time must undergo a trial period before a final decision on Full-Time admission is made.
- Please ensure that the primary prerequisites and eligibility for Full-Time school are met before submitting the application.
- All applicants for Full-Time must participate in the summer program for the trial session.
- Parents should refrain from removing students from their previous school until receiving final approval from AMIA.
- Once your child receives final approval, you may proceed with enrolling them in the PALCS online school for academics.
- Parents should be aware that AMIA utilizes the PALCS online school for academics, supplemented by additional in-person and private online teacher support.
Step 1 –Â Check the Primary Prerequisites and Eligibility Before Submitting the Application:
- Available space in the classroom. (Contact AMIA office)
- Grade:Â
- Full-Time School accepts new enrollments only for 2nd to 6th grade. (Existing students will continue to higher grades)
- Age:
- Full-Time Hifz/School: between 8 and 12 years old
- Summer/After School: 6 to 12 years old
- Mental Stability & Physical Health
- Obedience to parents and teachers
- Good Behavior
- Parents should have a clear understanding of the school’s policies, including dress code, punctuality, and timely fee payments.
- Parents must understand their financial and time obligations to the school.
- Family’s commitment to meet the financial and educational obligations to the school.
- Parents cannot expect special education instruction beyond the school’s capability or capacity.Â
For Hifz Only:Â
- Fluency in Quran recitation
- Proper Tajweed
- Ability to memorize the Quran and retain it
Step 2:Â
- If your child is eligible based on the Primary Prerequisites and Eligibility mentioned in step 1, please submit the online form designed for new students.Â
Step 3:Â
- AMIA will contact you by email at amiacademyud@gmail.com to schedule an appointment for the admission test and orientation. Any additional contact or communication should be held through this email.
- The admission test and orientation may take 15-30 minutes.
- Both parents and students must be present.
 Step 4 – During the admission test, the following steps will be undertaken:
- Verification of eligibility.
- Assessment/Placement Test.
- Setting up online payment.
- Auto payment withdrawal authorization.
- Payment of the registration and first month of the fees.
- Purchase of books and labeling them with the student’s name.
- Reviewing all AMIA codes of conduct and signing them.

Step 5 –Â When can students join class?
- You must show the approval email/letter to join the class
Step 6-Â How can I follow my student’s progress?Â
- After students get assigned to a teacher, guardians can access the teachers’ WhatsApp group to understand progress, attend Teacher-Guardian meetings, etc.
